Olivers Mount and Bilsdale transmitters are both predicted to give a good signal at your location. Have you checked which UHF channels your received is tuned to, as it may be inadvertently tuned to the wrong transmitter rather than the one your aerial is pointed to? Olivers Mount (approximate North from your postcode) uses 49/53/54/57/58/60 whereas Bilsdale (approximately West from yuor postcode) uses 23/26/29/31/37/40/43/46 (although 30 and 31 aren't predicted to give a good signal at your location).

Bhaskar.agashe: Does you TV have a satellite tuner? You'll need to connect the satellite input on the TV (screw connector) to your dish, then you can tune the channels in. If your TV doesn't have a satellite tuner, you'll need a set top box (a Freesat box would probably be the best option unless you have a spare Sky box).

Evans: There's no engineering work or faults currently showing for Sandy Heath. Have you checked for loose or damages cables and connections behind the TV? Do not attempt to retune whilst you have bad signal as it will result in all your channels being deleted and won't fix the lack of signal.

Colin Hector: STV2 is broadcast from the Durris transmitter but the signal is directional towards Aberdeen, so it is likely that you are outside of the coverage area for STV2 on Freeview.

Paul Shepherd: You would have to ask the owner of the station (Bauer Media Group) if they have any plans to expand coverage of Absolute 70s (or any of the other Absolute stations) although they haven't any plans to do so. This website is for independent help and advice with TV and radio reception problems and doesn't have anything to do with operating any transmitters or radio stations.

Dave Coburn: Because it only exists to allow the broadcaster to reserve the channel number.

Wayne Webb: No signal detected means that you aren't receiving a signal, which most likely is because of a problem at your end. Check all the cables and connections behind your TV for anything loose or damaged. If you provide a postcode we can see what the signal strength should be at your location and offer further advice.

David Thomas: Briton Ferry is a Freeview Lite transmitter which only broadcasts the PSB channels (BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5) and some of their offshoots. The coverage prediction for your postcode shows the commercial multiplexes from Kilvey Hill to be weak at your location, so your best option is likely to be Freesat if you want more channels without paying a subscription.
