Keith rodgerson: There has been no recent engineering work affecting Freeview transmissions from Mendip. Signal strength is never reduced from any transmitter for any other reason and never constantly for several weeks. As per my reply to David Carter, check the cabling behind your TV for a loose or damaged cable or connection, then work your way back as far as you can safely access towards the aerial. If you provide a full postcode someone may be able to offer more specific advice.

Valerie Campbell: Please provide a full postcode so we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter. STV2 is broadcast from Durris, but only in the direction of Aberdeen, so if you're in a different direction from the transmitter you won't be able to receive it. If you don't have Sky or cable, the only other way to watch is via STV's website or STV Player app on phones/tablets and various smart TVs/boxes.

jeffrey Hallett: This is not True Entertainment's website and we don't have access to any schedule information for any channel or broadcaster. Suggest you try one of the TV Guide websites or contact the broadcaster via their own website (see link at the top of this page).

S: Retuning or carrying out a first time installation will never fix a problem like this as all you are doing is deleting the channels which are already correctly tuned and searching for them again. It's possible that you're experiencing interference from more distant (possibly continental) transmitters due to the warm weather causing lift conditions which allow signals to travel further than they would under normal conditions. Another possibility is that you have a loose or damaged cable or connection, so have you checked everything behind the TV?

C Fisken: Please provide a full postcode so we can see which transmitters are predicted to be available to you, where you are in relation to them and predicted signal strength etc. If practical to do so, try taking the two TVs connected to the old aerial and connect them to the new aerial then run an auto tune and see if that results in your channels being restored to those TVs.

frank: S4C HD is only available on Sky and Freesat, I have no idea why it is listed for this transmitter but it is definitely an error.

John heesom: BT Sport Showcase on channel 59 has closed and has been replaced by BT Sport Showcase HD on channel 115. This requires a TV or set top box that receives Freeview HD channels and is only broadcast from 30 transmitters which cover around 75% of UK households. If you already have the QVC HD channels on 111 and 112 just retune and it should be added, otherwise provide a full postcode and we can check if it is possible to receive BT Sport Showcase HD at your location.

Thomas Gorham : Are you missing any other channels? Please provide a full postcode so we can see which transmitter you're using, predicted strength and where you are in relation to it. Also, check the cables and connections behind the TV for anything loose or damaged.

fred: Is your property newly built? I'm not getting any result for your postcode on either the Digital UK checker or Google Maps. When you say the installation has been checked, was this by an aerial engineer/installer? If not, have you checked all the cables and connections as this is the most common cause of problems such as yours.
