Please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitters cover your location then we can offer some meaningful advice on how to restore the North West channels rather than Welsh ones.

Dorothy Manning: It looks like your area gets good coverage from both Winter Hill (carrying North West channels) and Moel y Parc (carrying Welsh channels). If your neighbour's TV has a manual tuning function in the menu, run a manual tune on C59 (the UHF channel number the carries ITV from Winter Hill) and this should result in the North West versions of ITV and ITV+1 being restored.

allan cromarty: Make a note of any planned recordings, then unplug the aerial and do a full retune which should delete all stored channels. Then reconnect the aerial and retune again, which should reset your receiver.

Steve: Rescanning will never fix a signal problem as you TV is already correctly tuned. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? What are the signal strength and quality readings for the channels that aren't working? Please provide a full postcode so we can see which transmitter you're using, where you are in relation to it and your predicted signal strength etc.

Paul Bennington: Most likely explanation is that you've retuned and your TV has picked up ITV Tyne Tees from Bilsdale rather than ITV Yorkshire from Emley Moor. Find the manual tuning option in your TV's menu, select C44 then scan for channels and it should restore ITV Yorkshire on channel 3.

john slater: If the aerial connection for your TV goes through your Humax recorder then it sounds like the Humax is effectively blocking the signal when in standby. In the menu on the Humax there should be an option to keep the RF passthrough on whilst the box is in standby.

Anne: It isn't possible to record from Now TV whether you are using a Freesat box or any other recording device. Programs from the entertainment and movie channels can generally be viewed on catchup after they have been broadcast, however there is unfortunately no catchup service for any of the Sky Sports channels on Now TV.

David James: According to the coverage checker results for your postcode, Waltham looks like a better option than Sutton Coldfield for your location. Unless you already have a wideband aerial, you would probably need to replace your aerial for Waltham with a wideband type (such as a log periodic design) rather than just turning it round.

M A Rahman: This is not Sony's website and no one here can assist with your request (whatever it is that you're asking the channel to do).

John Fowler: Please provide a full postcode for the location of your caravan (or one nearby) so that we can access the coverage prediction for your location.
