I live in Harefield and now have full power Freeview from Crystal Palace after variable service for years due to dodgy location. The one TV that generates any sort of issue is Tesco's Technika 22" set with built-in Freeview and only on channel 82, Sky News. Signal strength is often 82-85%. At night, the picture freezes momentarily.
You have recommended an attenuator but as access to my aerial socket is difficult due to furniture fitting, can you fit them to the socket on the TV?

Last evening we lost Sky News completely. This was about 11.30 pm. Tried retuning, no luck, then checked other sets, they down, too. We get Crystal Palace signal here in UB9, but, lo, this morning, it was back fully at 80%. I assume this was part of the retune but can't find any report of our transmitters being involved.

I like in Harefield and have lost ArqA programmes such as Sky News consistently this past week up until around 11.0 am. They literally disappear off the listings as if they were never there. A conspiracy theorist would say this is a deliberate attempt by BBC News 24 to boost their own viewing theories, or is it really just atmospherics?

A couple of days ago, c 8.0 am, Sky News disappeared on all TVs, only to reappear about 30 mins later. There was heavy mist at the time (it was the same morning as the Isle of Sheppey crash) and I wondered whether that caused the problem. Could find no comment or announcement anywhere.
I am in Harefield, by the canal, and get my signal from Crystal Palace

Has anyone tried hooking one of the new style SMART boxes to a Humax Foxstaf receiver? currently it use an Ethernet connection to receive iPlayer in Channel 901. Humax say they do not support.

Sky News on Freeview packed up last night. A,m trying factory resets, etcs. Everything else working fine it seems. We are due to start changeover here in Uxbridge next month so wonder if it is do with that?
