Thanks MikeB. Problem seems to be partly resolved. Podcasts are now available again. Issue is finding a podcast with correct programme title. Look at BBC Radio 4 podcasts: Afternoon Drama. Podcast titles are weeks old, podcast you get is something else. More like a lucky dip.
Where does one contact the BBC about such issues?

I had a Freeview Aerial installed today. I rang one company only and figured the price they quoted was fair. Basic aerial install £75 but if a Hi-Gain aerial was needed it would £100. I expected that I would need the Hi-Gain in my location (Blackburn) and was prepared to pay that.
I asked about additional outlets in other rooms but I wasn't prepared to pay £85 for one additional socket. Adding an amplifier and an extra cable isn't worth that. Any additional rooms were another £40 each.
Overall I'm pleased with the basic install and I would have recommended the company apart from one minor detail; the fitter chucked bits of electrical tape all over the floor below where he had been working. It was a fairly easy job for him as the pole that he mounted the aerial on was already in place.

I'm just checking for my mother-in-law. She recently had a replacement aerial fitted. Since then she has had to keep retuning BBC 1. Postcode is FY5 2HF. I assume she is on the Winter Hill transmitter. Anybody else having issues?

Lisa : Some EPG guides take a while to update. I assume you can change channels and watch programmes.

If it was possible to fund the BBC by other means than the TV license then I would choose that. The BBC remains a major player in the provision of television, radio and internet resources. I may not like all that the BBC offers but I certainly get my money's worth. I'm not a great TV watcher, I prefer to listen to the radio and all of that is from the BBC because I can't abide advertisements. Radio 4 Extra is my favourite station which I tend to listen via the internet because of the on demand facility. Unlike some others I'm quite happy with DAB radio because of the greater choice of stations.
I'm glad the BBC don't have much sports output because I don't like sport. If only they'd cut down on royal coverage too because I don't like the monarchy either. I'm not keen on comedy on the radio and I cringe at some of the old stuff from the 50s, 60's and 70s that they still put on, but nonetheless who else does radio as good as the BBC?

Ian: That's a fair point about the fact that it should perhaps have been a new mast. He was going to put the aerial on the chimney but we agreed it would be better at the back of the house on an existing mast which I don't expect to fall down within the next 20 years or so.
At least I was happier with this rigger's work than I was from previous experiences.

I couldn't find anywhere to put this but it is related to BBC radio.
I used to listen to BBC Radio 4 Extra podcasts on my internet radio but the BBC have withdrawn Atom feeds that allow internet radios to receive the podcasts.
My internet radio is a Roberts but this issue, I suspect, will affect all internet radios.
I just want to listen to radio dramas on demand via my internet radio. It's not a lot to ask. Does anyone have any suggestions?
