mdt: "Freeview" does not include subscription services carried on digital terrestrial television (DTT). However, as they are on DTT then they will appear on receivers.

Andrew: Because money rules the world today and mono means more stations, as does lower bit rate. Those who are more discerning, like yourself, will switch off. The objective of the broadcasters is to get as many channels in whilst ensuring that enough people listen.

J Reid: I don't think you'll be able to receive it via terrestrial television (Freeview via your aerial).
Look at getting Freesat which will work with your dish.

J Reid: Doubt it.
Kendal and Kendal Fell transmitters only carry the Public Service (PSB) channels. ITV3 is carried on one of the Commercial (COM) channels (which these don't broadcast).
Based on the Digital UK predictor, reception of the COM channels from Lancaster transmitter is doubtful and may be degraded because Caldbeck uses the same frequencies.
For that reason and bearing in mind you already have a dish, Freesat is probably your best bet.

Trevor: I have one of those models. You will probably find that it has put Drama in the 800s because logical channel number 20 is already occupied.
Go to the 800s and find which number Drama is. Then use "Channel Sort" to swap 20 and whatever Drama is. See page 131 of the manual.

There is a "Norwich" multiplex which parts of Norfolk (not just Norwich) but it's doubtful that it will be available to you. This multiplex doesn't broadcast from Tacolneston, whereas BBC National and D1 National do.

Coverage maps can never be totally accurate. Objects can affect the signal including other buildings that are in the way.
