James: The structure is 35m high and the radiating TV antennas are right at the top. Will this be visible over the top of the new properties?

James: Ideally line-of-sight is required.

I'd guess that if Arqiva need be notified then it should have been done so at application stage. It might be worth enquiring with the Council as to whether this happened.

Philip Brown: Is the answer not obvious?

It's cheaper to transmit mono just as it's cheaper to use a lower bit rate because both use less capacity.

mike: Yes but it would appear that you will only be able to receive from the Conwy relay transmitter which means you will only have the PSB channels.For that reason you might prefer to consider Freesat.

Mike: Perhaps the aerial is a group a one which could do with replacing with a wideband.

Check the signal strength on BBC One, ITV and ITV3. Then compare with Pick. If Pick is markedly lower then maybe it's a group A aerial.

Steve P: Channel 4 is available in Wales from all transmitters and has been so since switchover.

Steve P: In Wales Channel 4 is on logical channel number 8. It is carried on PSB2 in lieu of E4 which is on COM5 instead. See :
