It would be good to see the exact coverage area of London Live by a map posted on their website. Presumably the coverage area would extend slightly when receiving from a high gain aerial.

For those living in a fringe area and wishing to receive the regional output of both areas is it possible to erect two aerials and divide the input into two different TV receivers to give the viewer the choice just as they used to with the analogue transmissions? The closure of BBC4 will only increase the audience of Sky Arts channel 11 as it is now seen as the commercial alternative to BBC4 with programmes of equally high quality. It seems such a pity that the BBC will not now be competing with Sky in its programme content.

The big difference between Channels 3 and 5 and the BBC and Channel 4 is that the former are commercial enterprises financed by shareholders and the latter 2 are financed by licence payers and a compulsory donation by ITV to Channel 4 which is effectively a nationalised commercial channel.

The decision to stop broadcasting BBC4 on freeview should be rescinded as the majority of viewers in the foreseeable future will continue to use freeview and those without internet connection will be unable to watch BBC4 on their TV sets.

The decision taken by the BBC to terminate BBC4 TV on free to air TV should be reversed as it is the only way for those without connective technology to access the channel. Already there is no BBC4 on HD and this decision is unacceptable.
