Hi Briantist,
I realise I cannot get a digital serice until 13th June 2012, but would prefer to get the digital signal from Heathfield rather than South Cliff Tower as channel choice would be far greater, I'm assuming as Heathfield will provide the relay digital signal I'd be able to use Heathfield.

looking at the coverage of heathfield it seems I may be able to get a signal from that transmitter rather than Eastbourne relay, I have got the £40 service from freeview to have an engineer coming tomorrow to check the aerial in the loft and replace if required and a freeview box, may ask him some advice if he'll say anything.

I decided as the switch over is very close to being complete/ is complete to move the aerial to 349 degrees and horizontal and it has a booster as part of it, still picks up the signal from UHF 26 instead of UHF 52 and good signal, have been informed I need to block UHF 26 then it should pick up UHF 52 but is there such a thing.

Hi Dave,
Thanks very much for your help due to the aerial booster supplying 10 tv's would think that blocking group a would be easier I have found a Group A UHF Bandpass Filter (21 to 37) but it uses F connectors and the aerial to the booster uses coax which is where I'd want ton install it, if I chaged coax to f connector would the cable be okay to use?

Regards

Found a Blake DMX10B Very High Gain Group B TV Aerial that I think would fit the bill as it says Frequency range: 35-53 (582 - 734MHz) (group B).

Installed a Blake DMX10B (Frequency range: 35-53)aerial and installed as per instructions and turned to 349 degrees and yet still picked up Eastbourne transmitter which doesn't make sense how it has even with the group B range.

I have a Humax fox T2 PVR just recently bought also a Samsung full hd tv I tried channel 52 and it finds nothing at all on manual tune, Sony TV is not very current but flat screen but has very little options, everything that has been suggested I've tried but nothing seems to works so it may be an aerial company may be needed but am trying to do that as a very last resort, funny thing is an aerial that is new is in a garden lower than ours in the loft and it's facing Heathfield.

What a fun thing that's happened Heathfield transmitters signal must have got stronger as film 4, yesterday can be got from it but funny thing is it's sometimes hit and miss even with a booster in the loft and another one in into the tv as with out it would have been awful wonder what I could do to get it better Iknow you have suggested maybe install it on chimney brest.
