Philip Lyons: I'm guessing from your question that you can't get the 4Seven channel.
WHich would be correct, as the Haywards Heath transmitter is "Freeview Light".

Gareth : Simple, the digital services are not designed to work with indoor aerials.
This is the reason why the law was changed to give everyone in the UK the right to use a rooftop aerial.

Corin: For legal reasons, the service that is relayed to the Netherlands is the one that can be picked up, which the the Norwich service, BBC One East (East).

sharealam: You must have missed out on the joy of wow and flutter and azimuth errors.
Not to mention having to splice the flimsy stuff together with tape when they snapped.
Or the particular joy of flattening the batteries on your Walkman because you used "fast forward".
Or having to "save" your ZX Spectrum programme five or six times because you might want to load it back in.
Or dropouts: I still know the location of many of them in tracks I have in perfect digital quality now.
