leo: The BBC are going to make their programmes available via a "Worldwide iPlayer" at some point shortly. This will require a subscription.

Ian Burns: Yes, the digital signals will be stronger everywhere and provide the same level of coverage as analogue did.

ginny: It shouldn't make too much of a difference.
The Communications Act 2003 provides you with a "right" under section 244 to have access to a digital television service.
It does not provide that anyone else should pay for that access, however.
The council may opt to having Virgin providing you will free access to the public service channels without a subscription, but you have every right to access Freeview if it available in your area.

Phil Taylor: No changes were made to the output of multiplex C, so you should still have Dave.
Multiplex D, moved to C67 as ArqB and has changed mode. For people on the edges of coverage, the mode change will mean you have to wait until 14 Sept 2011 when the multiplex moves to C48 at full power, to watch those channels again.

Nigel, Leics: You need to do a "first time installation" on your equipment due to the Leicester transmitter switchover.
