bett: I'm not sure why you contact Sony. Freeview HD is transmitted only from the Lichfield transmitter, until switchover. Roger Williama: Because water is getting into your cables/connectors. I would suggest you have the aerial and cables checked and replaced.

John McNeil: Any standard Yagi aerial will do, as long as it mounted on the roof with a line-of-sight to the transmitter.
