Laura: You will get better signals from a rooftop aerial. You also have the choice of three transmitters, so you should choose the one with the least interference.

Roy: OK, it sounds like you are getting signals from Whitehaven digital TV transmitter | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice rather than this transmitter.
As you can't get signals from a main Freeview transmitter, you are limited to the public service transmissions.

Steve Hawkins: I would suggest your disconnect (bypass to a single set) the splitter in the loft. You can then determine where the fault is.

Roy: You certainly would get more channels with Freesat, and it might cost less than a new aerial.
