Ian Blair: The problem with putting a dish on a pole is that it will probably blow around in the wind and disrupt satellite reception.

There are plenty of options for dish locations, can you please see Householder guide to satellite dishes | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

david bailey: Just to chip in, this is a "public service" transmitter. The commercial operators declined to operate from the smaller transmitters, regarding the costs of installation and operation to be too high.

If you want more channels, Freesat would be a good option - Compare Freeview Light and Freesat TV | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

Les Nicol: Future to sell or close eight magazines | Media | guardian.co.uk does indeed say that.

It's a great pity, but I guess like most magazines it is hard to be "newsy" with a monthly format.

andrew: You only need a single connection to a rooftop aerial, the double-connection is only required to a satellite dish.

"RF loop" means that the "RF in" is linked to the "RF out".

You will get multiplex 2 and D channels from the Divis transmitter. You will get the HD channels next year, but you will not have the strongest signal for the "commercial multiplexes".

All transmitters have Freeview HD after switchover.

Rob: I would check for Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice near the PVR. You certainly should expect a much stronger signal for ArqB after switchover, which is Wednesday 21st September 2011.

Neil O'Halloran: Sorry, but no. You can't use satellite equipment with Freeview or vice-versa.

forward: You won't be able to receive any European satellites in Southeast Asia. You would probably save yourself a lot of time and trouble sourcing equipment and installation over there.

mrs morris: I suspect your satellite dish may be very slightly out of alignment. You would normally expect all channels to be stable for 99.99% of the time.
