Jon Segar: You are getting much as your would expect for a loft aerial. Either wait for switchover, or use Freesat where you can located the dish somewhere suitable - see Householder guide to satellite dishes | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

Paul: The services not on full power have frequencies that are still in use for analogue services in neighbouring transmitter regions and can only be put at full power levels when those regions switch.

Philip Joynes: If you have Sky+HD, you use a SPDIF cable. Other Sky boxes do not have digital sound outputs.

Sue: Yes, just buy a Freesat+HD box and installation from a local Argos, John Lewes, Currys or other such store.

Wendy: Yes, if you had a Freeview+ box you will need to connect this up to record and pause. You won't be able to watch/record/play Freeview HD on such a box - you would need a Freeview+HD box for that.
