Anthony Johnson: As you use the Emley Moor transmitter, your switchover will be on Wednesday 21st September 2011.
Only people who use the Sheffield transmitter had a switchover event today.

John: Sorry, but I only have the information provided by the BBC and Digital UK. The latter provides the "TV (analogue) Liable to interruption, TV (digital) Liable to interruption" information which is as much as they publish.
If you can receive an analogue service from Rowridge now you will be able to receive a digital service from it after switchover, but as you have not provided a full postcode then I can't say any more.

Basically no. If you sells all your TVs and other TV reception equipment, you can apply for a refund. Otherwise you have to pay and obtaining a decent reception is your responsibility.

lynn: As long as you use the "input 1" for a single-connection dish there should be no problems.
You need to ensure that the dish is pointing at the correct satellites, you will get both signal and quality readings for almost any satellite, but you must receive a signal from the "Astra 2" satellites to watch Sky.

timonthenet/David: Probably just worth pointing out that the DVB-T2 standard is a new one.
As it takes many months for sets to be designed, manufactured, shipped, stored and distributed, with the best planning in the world, it would have not been possible to have installed DVB-T2 in all "Full HD" TV sets on sale.

michael: There are already LTE (4G) services running in the USA, and even devices to use them with. If this turns out to be a suitable service for people who wish to listen to non-domestic radio around the UK, will, as you say, probably be down to pricing.
