obsidian eclipse: It's not a "rumour", it's listed above: "Muliplex A (SDN) will move from C26 to C29 (at 8kW) in advance of switchover during March 2011, and will adopt its final power level on 12th October 2011."

Ian Grice: Yes, I don't think you should expect that signal until 12 October 2011 when it goes up to full power. You're not really predicted to get a good signal event then...

W.M. Wild: The power for Multiplex A has not changed, but it will increase on 12th October 2011.

Bern: Waltham is not broadcating at "low power", all multiplexes are at high power levels, with the exception of Multiplex A which is at the level it was at yesterday.

The reason for ITV Digital going under was complex, if you want me to go into it I can, I was there!

kB Aerials Sheffield : I would venture that it isn't just that the digital signals are stronger, but the presence of no analogue to act as interference considerably improves the signal-to-noise ratio.

BERNARD MARTIN: As long as your reception is above the "digital cliff" threshold, you should be sure of continued excellent reception of all six multiplexes from Sandy Heath, even if the commercial multiplexes have not yet all moved to their final power levels.
