Fred Selley: This is a public service transmitter, the commercial operators do not want to operate from here. You won't be getting those additional channels.

chris f: I would suspect the receiver you have bought, rather than your aerial. I would return it to the store for a replacement.

TerryH: Interesting, it should do that at 1830, not 2000. I would do this My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound or the channel line up is wrong | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice to the TV.

Paul: Don't worry about signal strength, it is the signal quality that is all important for digital reception.
Just to check - you do have a wideband aerial, and not a group A?
