Iain: Given that you can analogue Channel 4 perfectly well (I am assuming) you might just have to wait for BBCB to switch to high power on C50 on Wednesday 22nd June 2011.

Richard: You should not be having problems with C45 - assuming you have a rooftop aerial - please can you see Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice ?

Donna: From 20th July 2011, you should be able to get some form of Freeview service from the
Sudbury transmitter.

You might just want to wait and see if your existing aerial will provide the service.

You are not predicted to get any reception before this date.

Lucy Green: Yes, you can swap out the Sky box for a Freesat HD box, as per Upgrading from Sky to Freesat
| ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice
- but you must use an HDMI cable, rather than the old-fashioned SCART lead.

Martha Zantides: Under the Television Without Frontiers EU Directive, and channel that is broadcast free-to-air can be rebroadcast on any network AS LONG AS no charge is made for the channel when it is rebroadcast.

This is why, for example, you can watch the BBC channels on cable TV in Holland.

france peter: Sorry, but you should blame Tessa Jowell for making the switchover dates slip by two years.

You are predicted, with a rooftop aerial, to receive all seven multiplexes from Crystal Palace and all six from the Reigate transmitter.

Switchover for Crystal Palace is mid 2012.

June Phillips: The commercial multiplex operators declined to provide their services from this transmitter many years ago. This is because the cost of providing the transmissions is more than the profit that would be made from the number of viewers. The companies (now Arqiva and ITV plc) refused the offer of frequency allocations, so these have been withdrawn. This means there will be no additional multiplexes broadcast from this, or any other, public service transmitter.

Mark: There is at least one extra BBC national DAB transmitter planned for Northern Ireland in 2011.
