FJC Farrar: No, there is no effect as the current digital services are being provided by the same panels that have been there for the last decade.

The new equipment is being used for the current analogue channels and will just switch to digital, as it did on the recent commissioning tests, overnight.

Steve Swift: The TETRA system can be quite bad for this, so it is possible. You can usually overcome problems by using higher quality aerial cables (ie, satellite cable) but if the TETRA mast is between the aerial and the transmitter you might have to take other action.

Arnie: Yes, in their turn each new change in TV format has been called "high definition" when it started.

However, the current meaning is 720-line and 1080-line.

The next step, Ultra-HD is 4320-line.
