Mike Dimmick: Thanks for you your prompt and thorough reply, much appreciated. I will try what you suggest over the weekend and report back on Monday.
Many thanks, Craig

Mike Dimmick: I ran through your various suggestions on Friday night. BBC was already mapped to channel 60, so instead I manually searched the channels you suggested. The result was that I still had problems with the EPG... the listings Friday through to Sunday were fine, but Monday onwards was very patchy with huge gaps in the listings... I made a list of all the channels that were missing the EPG thinking there may be some pattern, but there wasn't... even more strange, the listings would switch from time to time as well. For example, Monday was showing programmes for BBC1 and BBC2 but nothing for ITV or C4. Half hour later, BBC1 and BBC2 programmes had vanished off the list, but ITV and C4 had appeared! It definitely appeared as if something was clashing and causing the Humax to confuse itself.
The problem carried on throughout Saturday, however by Sunday morning I noticed that all channels had the EPG loaded for the full week, with no visible data missing at all. Touch wood, it appears to have been okay ever since.
Not quite sure what happened, or indeed if I fixed it or if it fixed itself. Many thanks for your assistance, I will keep your notes to hand should everything fall over again in a few weeks time...

Had a few problems with my Humax 9200T again this morning. Lots of channels missing, so I did a complete retune. However, some channels were still very blotchy, or saying "no signal" (ITV, C4, C5, ITV2). I then followed the manual instructions that Mike Dimmick kindly provided me with earlier on this thread to manually tune, but only found service on Ch60 - nothing on 60, 55, 56, 66 or 62.
I auto-tuned again, and checked out the problematic channels... they were tuned to Ch25 Gloucestershire with signal strength and quality of only 10%. Some of the other channels that were working correctly were tuned to Ch 59, Ch50 and C55.
I am probably being really stupid here, assume I need to tune to a different manual set of Ch's now that the final stage of the swap over has occured... but why have I lost a batch of channels all together?
Kind Regards
Craig Jones

Sorry, my previous message should have read "only found service on Ch60 - nothing on 65, 56, 66 and 62."

Lost BBC1 and BBC2 off my Humax 9200T freeview box a couple of days ago. Went through the retune stages as detailed elsewhere on this site (including retune with aerial disconnected) and all channels came back as normal. The problem I have now is with the EPG on the Humax, which is not loading all data for all channels... data for Monday and beyond is practically non-existant. I read on another page that I need to "add the 8k channel manually" until the switchover is complete, alas this means nothing to me :-/ Can anyone assist? Cheers, Craig
