So if I contact Sky about changing the contact details of this card are you saying they are going to try and get me to pay £25 for a different card to use that will give me everything I already get (without having had to pay a penny for it in the first place)? And if I say no to that, can they block the free channels I do already have? tbh, this was the reason I tried writing on here before calling sky. can anyone else confirm this for me? want to be double sure as i'd like to get free BT Sport but won't bother if I've got to pay £25 to Sky for the pleasure. Both on principal and the simple fact that with a 4 month old spending all my money :-) I can't afford it!

Hello. My father-in-law gave me his old Sky box and card that I've been using to watch the 'free-to-air' channels (without a problem). As a BT Broadband customer I've been trying to sort out getting the free BT Sports channels but I get as far as a message saying that the Sky box/card is 'not registered to this address'. I don't want a Sky subscription. Anyone any ideas what I could/should do? Cheers.
