Sandra,
If you have a aerial lead with a metal plug on (not moulded) the lead in the plug may of come loose. undo metal plug you will see braid on outside and a centre wire with insulation between them. if one strand of braid touches centre wire it will short out signal. remake plug connection so they do not touch togeather.
If you have a moulded lead it might be worth trying putting tv through a retune.

Maria, Firstly does your aerial go straght into tv or does it go in and out of a Dvd or videorecorder. If it does loop through something try it straight into tv. If still no go press the menu button on tv and try and find the tuning menu. if there is an option first time installation or reset try that first or digital retune. Hope that might help.

Reading notes above it states Mux2 moves to ch59 on 17 August. I am intrigued to know how this will not make the signal on ITV1 Analogue also on ch59 not go very snowy.

Thanks Mike for your comments I think a lot of people on the 2 Bury st Edmunds and the Thetford relay analogue transmitters would be very upset if Itv1 analogue was closed down early and they had to wait till November to watch digital channels.

Briantist, Thanks for your comments as well I was wondering why nobody had not posted any comments about Itv1 analogue being on ch59.There are constant on screen reminders coming up saying retune on 17th august. So maybe only way is to wait and see what happens on that date.

Hi Julie,
If your tvs have built in Freeview you may be in luck so do not worry to much depending where you live you should get a lot more channels. some very early freeview tvs may not work at c/o.But on plus side if you buy a tv with HD TUNER built in you will get BBC1,ITV1 AND CH4 in hd only minus is at momemt only 32 inch have HD tuner built in.
Hope this helps a bit.
