Thanks Mike,it must be the engineering work,I have checked my tuning and have 83 channels of which 50 areTV.For years I have had no trouble,it is just in recent months sometimes a few of the BBC channels and HD just goes completely. My set just gives signal quality which can fluctuate widely.

MikeB: If it were the problems you highlight how come I get perfect signals for 40 TV stations. It's the UHF channel that transmits BBC channels that has gone.

It is definitely whatever work they are doing on the transmitter. As I am 25miles from it and houses in the wayI need a strong signal.Tonight four of the HD channels reappeared after three weeks, managed to watch Newsnight no problem. The Ch35 mux hasn't returned so don't have those channels.

I have the same problem from Blackhill on HD channels after about 11 minutes the sound disappears and you either tune in and out or go to ordinary digital.

I live in area PA7 and have had signal problems for three months.I have now lost all BBC channels and can't receive any HD.How much longer is this to last?
