How to Watch: True Movies


Below is a list of all the television and radio channels that you can watch in the UK using one of the free services: DAB (for radio), Freeview, Sky No Card - Sky without a viewing card (Freesat from Sky (or fSfS)) and Freesat.. Where a channel can be watched for free, the channel number is listed below. In addition, if you can watch (or listen) immediately online, press the button in the "web" column.

As some channels are exclusive to one service alone, you may need to get receive more than one service to get all the channels you want. The coverage for Freeview differs too - those channels not provided by the public service "Freeview Light" transmitters the current coverage shown thus (54%), taken from Connected Nations Report 2017: Data analysis'

From Wikipedia: The channel is aimed especially at the female viewer dedicated to true to life drama films, which are mostly made-for-TV movies in origin. It shows movies from a range of cinematic genres including romance, crime, drama and docusoaps, all of which are based on real life events. Annoyed: Your TV licence does not provide any funding for commercial stations such as True Movies. The only broadcasters it does fund are the BBC and S4C.

i don't get true movies anymore but i am tying to get some of the movies on dvd and i can't find them anywhere, i;ve tried all the usual places such as ebay and amazon but cannot seem to get them, please help .

Sony renamed their channels last year and had many of them moved to Local multiplexes. True Movies is now called Sony Movies Classic at LCN50 in your programme guide. Unless you get a Local station at LCN 7 or 8 you probably won't get those Sony Channels.
See Channel listings | Freeview for which channels are on which multiplex.
If you need more help and you know which transmitter you get Freeview from, post back, otherwise a full postcode is needed to see what the Freeview Detailed Coverage checker predicts for reception at your location.
