Hi,
The Digital UK checker shows the Channel Mux numbers but no information on which TV channels are transmitted by each of the mux's.
On the basis that the UK FreeTV site is no longer up to date with the TV channels information where can one find accurate transmitter infomation showing which mux transmits which TV channels for each of the following: Sutton Coldfield, Waltham, Belmont, Belper (relay), Little Eaton (relay), Derby (relay), Bolehill (relay), Darley Dale (relay) and Stanton Moor (relay) ?
Thank you for your assistance.

Midhurst (West Sussex, England) Full Freeview transmitter

Midhurst

Postcode GU29 0EH House no.2 recently moved in.
My Sony TV does not show the Midhurst transmitter in the available transmitters in the retune / setup menu it only shows Southampton and Salisbury
Reception is poor on most channels with pixelation notably on PSB2 TV channels i.e. ITV, Ch4, etc.

TV aerial is in the loft space and not sure which direction its supposed to be pointing.
I believe the Midhurst transmitter is 5-6km away roughly in a northerly direction from my new house.
What would be the line of sight to the Midhurst transmitter in degrees east or west of due north of my property?
It would be easy to redirect the aerial as its in the loft.
Any advice on the correct direction / alignment would be most welcome.
Thank you.

Chris, many thanks for that useful info, I will go check the aerial alignment / direction with a compass and adjust as required.
When I do that, and assuming the aerial is pointing in the correct direction, then during a TV retune when one has to choose the region, how will the Midhurst Tx be listed in the available choices of TV region(s) listed?
Will it show up as 'Midhurst', Meridian, South or some other regional identifier ?

Thank you in advance of your assistance.
Gordon.

The compass co-ordinate you gave determined the direction the aerial should have been pointing and indicated the aerial was slightly off beam (by 15 degees west) realignment fixed the issue.
I have to add the the transmitter line-of-sight is 5-6km the otherside of a wood copse with 50-80ft high tees which I assume would further exacerbate the situation. However, all is now well and perfect reception on all multiplex's.
Thank you.
