If this happens just now and then it probably isn't a problem but if it continues and your Aerial is over ten years then your best bet would be to replace it

Simon the top price to pay is around £300 the materials are only around £100 and two hours of labour

what you have to remember Simon is that this type of work is nothing special to a professional just basic stuff at the end of the day
they earn a very good living at £100 per hour which on a basic install takes one hour with £50 max trade price for the hardware so anyone who wants more then £100 per hour should be avoided

back on topic the HD channels are best served by being close to bbc 1 etc and not in the hundred bracket
a bit of common sense i feel

Thanks Brian. I'm on London CP and living in crawley with a loft aerial and a mains booster and have always had no problems bar the digital changeover so fingers crossed it stays that way

don't forget that the Ariel leads like QED reference models can cause drop outs for those that live in marginal areas of the country
I myself have just upgraded my lead and cant any longer get my hd channels from crystal palace but the channels i do receive which is all of them are in a much superior quality my Ariel lead being part made of silver
