Just an update on things here since Stage 1
all BBC digital channels fine no breakup.
On the other Muxes nothing received at all but
that I expect will change next week.
Analogue channels are weak especially ch 5
but still usable

SIGNAL Shows on BBC as 80Percent on an old Ant as good as some who have spent loads recently plenty of Vans down our road of late + SKY Virgin
We have large trees all round us with Crystal palace blocked out by a very large 100ft Beech tree dead in line in our front garden Chain saw not an option TPO on it and very observant tree inspector .
Am really pleased so far and hope to see later if the bent metal coat hanger and coax works like it did on Analogue . bit of fun really to try own Antenna .we made our own CB ones and Short wave .

Strange one really as weeks ago all channels
were Working ok on then they went so only BBC was available . looking at page 25000 watts i would have thought would be fine for a weak reception unless the quoted Figure is not exactly correct. not heard of anyone in our area able to recieve these Muxes.

Dont know if Digital uk read this but a friend has problem tuning her tv BBC Channels Fine No ITV etc on Meridean local tv for news ,
Gave postcode they told her No ITV Till april 4 which makes that crystal palace so she would not have lost all analogue channels last night . they need to ask what your local channel is hers is same as mine BBC South Meridean news not BBC London ITV london . Still waiting to hear from her again but should be ok EVERSLY near FLEET

HI What have done is tell her to ask a neighbour to see what they get and to check what direction there Aerial is pointing .
Our postcode gives Crystal Palace as well but we cannot receive it at all most Aerials here point at Hannington .now wating till this eve when she is Home.

forgot to Add here local news is Meridaen so she gets local news not London.news as i have not seen this i have to assume she gets good picture from Hannington and her Analogue channels are off

the commercial muxes low power explains why no Signel on those channels at all . as Double check disconnected the Dist sysamp still no signel .

Think this may help out a few parents .
TV in boys room built in Freeview . Portable Ant . Installed Coax and Splitter to roof Ant in Bedroom Analogue not very good Digital was Really good 11bbc 12 radio all ok . some cases you might need a TV Amp . All items from EBAY
Cheap you can do yourself save pounds and happy Family not dad WHERES MY TV picture GONE
