UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Tay Bridge (Fife, Scotland) mast?

This concerns DD2 4HD which receives signal from Craigkelly . Most aerials in the area point to Craigkelly .would the much closer Tay Bridge Transmitter not be better ?

Doug Milne: I suspect that you are in a locality that isn't best served by Tay Bridge which is why there is another local relay.

It is located on the water tower and radiates northwards:

mb21 - The Transmission Gallery

It only rebroadcasts PSB channels, so if you have any chance of receiving from Angus then that would be your better bet in terms of more channels.

Doug Milne: Just realised that you live south of the water tower so it is doubtful as to whether you may be able to receive from it, it being only 2W and the crossed broadcast log antennas being pointed in the opposite direction and perhaps partly screened by the metalwork.
