Is LBC currently transmitted in DAB from Lark Stoke and if so is it currently on full power.
It used to be good all over Stratford-on-|Avon but now only seems to cover small bits of the town!

Ian Hopwood:
Sorry that no-one seems to have previously spotted your post.
LBC is on the Digital One multiplex which is broadcast from Lark Stoke. Trying to find information about faults or maintenance with commercial DAB multiplexes seems to be a big issue these days and I've not spotted any reports that may be of any help.
I can only suggest that if the issues continue you try contacting LBC who should be able to contact the right sections of Arqiva, and/or email Arqiva at radio@arqiva.com

Having said no-one had spotted your post, it did seem familiar. I had previously replied but the link had taken me to the Icomb Hill page and I couldn't find your original post. I'm afraid a lot of the DAB pages here are not working correctly.

See the couple of posts before yours about finding posts on some DAB pages. We've been misled to the wrong page. As StevensOnln1 has posted on the Icomb Hill page (not related to this transmitter which I think is correctly called Callans_Lane_Wood) all DAB is vertically polarised.

I doubt very much that the power has been dropped (unless there is some planned engineering going on, but that's a long time and that's a large area!). Weather conditions of late may not help, is this constant or variable?
BBC Radio 6 Music is on the BBC National mux, so you should have the same problem with all other main BBC stations.
If you find this is the case with other BBC stations and this persists, I'd try reporting it to BBC Engineering to see if they know anything or have any ideas.
Please keep us updated.

Hi, I have been experiencing problems with BBC radio 6 music for the past 4-6 weeks when travelling between Portsmouth and London, it's the areas roughly from Horndean to Cobham on the A3. Previously no problem but now it's constantly dropping out if I retune the availability of stations it makes no difference. It has become so bad that I have taken to reverting onto FM stations. I think the issue is the power has been dropped for this mux as I can hear the signal wobble before it drops out. Bit like long wave when you go under a bridge!

Click on the link for this reply to find it.This website seems to be behaving oddly, some posts on DAB pages end up on odd pages that seem difficult to find. I recall you making this post on the 23rd or 24th and my reply is here DAB transmitter | free and easy immediately before yours (dated 28th June) on this page.
