Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Gartley Moor (Aberdeenshire, Scotland) mast?

GARTLEY MOOR transmitter - Freeview: Off the air due to a fault from 17 Feb 05:46 until 17 Feb 19:43. . BBC

UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

My tv has a no signal message when it's switched on in Insch. This happened since the big storm on 27/11/21. Is there a fault with the transmitter which I believe is Gartly Moore?

V. Cochrane:

Although we are on the DAB transmitter page, the information on the Freeview page is the same.
As per the top of the page currently, the BBC have advise a fault -
Freeview: Off the air due to a fault from 26 Nov 17:24. . BBC
DAB: Off the air due to a fault from 26 Nov 17:24. . BBC

It is in fact due to a power outage.
Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks are reporting they hope it may be fixed by 22:00 30/11/2021 but you'd need to check with them for updates. Transmitter postcode is AB54 4RQ

Statement from BBC Engineering -
27 November 2021

High winds and rain are causing problems with electricity supplies to several transmitters across the UK. Regional electricity suppliers are working hard to restore services. You can check the status of your local transmitter using our transmitter checker tool.

While you're waiting you could try BBC iPlayer or BBC Sounds to carry on watching or listening to your favourite programmes. They are both available on Smart televisions and many other internet connected devices.
