Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Peterborough (Cambridgeshire, England) mast?

No problems on any service. BBC

UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

Gold is also broadcast. I think it's on the Peterborough mux and is Gold - Peterborough like on 1332 AM.

It looks like the better-than-average Black Cat may have lots its slot on this transmitter to Team Rock, but I can't see channel numbers on my receiver to confirm that.

MJ Ray: "Black Cat" is still listed by Ofcom.

I have also fixed the missing stations, which was a problem with punctuation.

Briantist: they might still be licensed, but http://licensing.ofcom.or….pdf makes it look like it was a temporary addition - was there a later extension?

Anyway, ultimately, they're not being found by a rescan and they're not listed on NOW Digital Ltd

MJ Ray: I see that the Ofcom data now no longer shows the Black Cat station.

lisa:

According to Gold's website "If you have an older DAB radio (without the DAB plus feature) you may not be able to find us and you will need to purchase one of the latest digital radio's with the DAB+ logo. "
It seems they have changed recently, according to Wikipedia "In September 2019, many of the local-level DAB transmissions of Gold were turned over to the new service Smooth Country, requiring listeners in affected areas to migrate to the national DAB+ transmission of Gold. Gold continues to broadcast on DAB in the East Midlands, where Smooth Country took the place of Chill."

The DAB+ broadcasts are on the Digital One national multiplex. If you have a DAB+ radio it may be that you need to reposition your radio or aerial if in range of a transmitter. It seems that the DAB transmissions only continue on the Nottingham/Derby/Leicester DAB transmitters.

Jeanette Ann Smith: Planet Rock has switched to broadcasting in DAB+ which many older radios don't support. It's worth rescanning for stations, but if that doesn't bring it back then those radios are not DAB+ compatible.
