The commercial broadcasters have questioned EE TV’s Replay functionality - a PVR service that allows users to bypass adverts by automatically recording hundreds of hours’ worth of content. The recorded programmes are presented on EE TV’s 1TB box in a VoD-style menu, allowing users to browse content by genre, channel and specially selected top picks. But unlike a VoD service, which will stream pre- and mid-roll adverts, users are able to skip through the commercials because the content is recorded.. - link
