But the early adopter energy seems to have morphed into a sluggish reluctance. BBC3 goes online, but mainly to save money. Websites merely support broadcast programmes. An early CBBC online drama initiative seems isolated: if other work is in progress, the gestation is interminable. I spent my life in drama, struggling to embrace and use each new technology.
