DAB is next to useless in my car. I travel, cross country, every week from Dorset to Gloucester. I cannot hold a DAB channel for even a quarter of that journey without many dropouts. So I always go to FM. What a mess they have caused!

Richard Wood: I travel all over the country and most DAB stays just fine. I suspect your expecting a local/regional station to be available nationally.
If your losing National services such as the BBC - then you need to invest in a better car stereo. Most car manufacturers standard receivers are crap.

Richard Wood: Which stations are you listening to? I've had DAB in my car for a few years now and have found coverage of the BBC national stations and stations on the D1 National commercial multiplex to be very good (I don't regularly listen to any stations on the SDL National commercial mux).
