Summary: Preliminary talks have been held with the UK broadcaster Sky and some of the big Hollywood studios with the aim of adding their content via dedicated IP channels or content on demand services. Although a launch date was originally penned for early 2011, YouView's non-executive Chairman, Kip Meek, recently announced that the service was more likely to arrive towards the middle of next year.
