Summary: Overall TV viewing fell slightly in 2014 as the number of people tuning in for more than four hours per day dipped by 7%. According to the study, based on Barb data and compiled by commercial TV body Thinkbox, total average daily viewing time fell by around 11 minutes - from 3 hours 55 minutes in 2013 to 3 hours and 44 minutes last year. Viewing via a TV set was broadly flat year-on-year at 98.4%. According to the data, 16-34 year olds watched 7% less TV via traditional sets in 2014, compared with the previous year.
