bill anderson: The box must have a satellite signal from a "default transponder" to be able to decode the postcodes.
Check your box has got a signal.

Thank you,
The box tuned yesterday to another postcode, but when I retuned to my own postcode it came up invalid Post code again. Now I can't get any Post code. I can still tune manualy to NonFreesat without any problen with 100% signal and 90% quality.

bill anderson: Can you try doing a "factory reset" to the box?

Humax Freesat HD DTR Recorder. For those that struggle with what appears to be a problem with the remote control - Make sure that you take off all the protective packaging strips which includes the not so obvious strip under the front flap which impedes the remotes capacity to talk to the receiver via the sensor.

I have a spare Humax Foxsat HD box, is it possible to make the box receive another satellite other than 28.2 E. Example Atlantic Bird 5W ?

Jeff Lee: The boxes are designed for use with the UK Freesat service, but if you point your dish at another satellite you can use the non-Freesat mode with that.

Time was displayed on the screen bottom right corner but no longer. I cannot get it back and nothing in the manual.

welvaert- Are you posting on the correct page? This box does not provide the facility you describe. Is the time provided by your TV?
