John REES: Yes, you will get them at switchover. Or today, if you use Freesat.

Mister C: It depends on your postcode really, you may not have any digital services to receive yet. Use the box at the top right to find out.

Hi Brian, sorry, should have checked that first - but yes, it says I should receive freeview HD, etc - which my tv has a built in capability for. Thanks, David.

Mister C: Officially you get "Freeview HD available: 13 April 2011", which is when Sandy Heath switches.

You are too far distant to receive the pre-switchover service from Crystal Palace. The signal is simply too weak to reach your location.

Does anyone else have a problem with BBC2. I have not been able to watch this channel for the past week and early this evening I lost BBC1 too. I live in the centre of Banbury and reception has always been poor.

Brand new Icecrypt PVR HD T2400 in N5, London, with full Freeview HD availability according to postcode search, will not find a single HD channel, nothing between Channels 44 and 70, however many times we scan. Any ideas? (new, quality, HDMI cable set up)
Thank you very for help

Hi I'm about to move into a bedsit in a converted house that doesn't have an aerial. I was going to buy a freeview set top box to watch more stations on my portable tv (old, not sure if digital compatible) but having read a few things on the web believe I may not be able to without an aerial. Is this correct?
