I have been told that shortly I will have to upgrade my dish to a mark 4.
Then one I have at the moment is probaby a mark 1.
I only have freesat(through a Skybox)but a Sky engineer told me that if I don't upgrade the dish my signal will be weaker
Is there any truth in this?

i have an indoor areial and had all the channels now the some of the channels are missing like bbc and itv and channel 4 what to do please as i do not have an outdoor aerial. and not sure if the landlord will put an outdoor aerial up. thank you

bev: You would not expect the landlord to install an aerial for you, but you do have the right to have one installed at your own expense.

I will move abroad. Generally speaking, is it possible to use a Freeview receiver to watch local digital terrestrial channels? Also, is it possible to use a Freesat receiver to watch Free to Air satellite channels? Thanks!

I can get most freeview channels on a tv with digibox and excellent indoor aerial but for some reason I just cannot get ITV 3.

Julie: If you have a fixed (e.g. roof-top) aerial that you know picks up the required signal, then I would connect the set-top box to it and tune it in using that. Having done this, then take it back to the indoor aerial and move it around until you get good reception on all channels. The last bit could be easier said than done; you might find that some or most come in good but one doesn't work.
Putting the aerial higher doesn't always improve reception; sometimes it makes it worse.
