Alan: The Digital UK postcode checker predicts that at present you will only receive Mux1 and MuxB, and these are with poor reception! It is true that as far as the PSB muxes are concerned you should have good reception after June 2011. The COM muxes could still give problems however. It is worth noting that Angus is shown as having a power increase in 2012, after which you might be able to receive all six muxes with good reception by changing to Angus.

Alan Payne : Freeview HD is on C44 from the Dartmouth transmitter. You will of course need a Freeview HD box or IDTV with a tuner which supports DVB-T2.

Can I move my freesat card to a second hand but working skyplus box and start using the hard disk for recording? There is only one co-ax cable present at the TV end.

Whenever we watch/record on ITV3 it creates a problem for two or three days afterwards. If we try to watch/record a programme on any channel all we get is "line". The screen is grey. We have to switch off the power at the sockets several times over 1-3 days to clear the problem. Why? We only have Freeview not Sky.
Our DVD recorder is a Sony as is the tv. Freeview is built into the recorder.

I have just bought a new tv with a built in Freeview tuner. All seems ok (channels etc) except I can't get Text (Cee or Tele) or Red Button Services and the EPG time
doesn't match with real time. Prior to this TV I used an old Thomson Set Top Box which was fine.

Is the TV a fault (I have already emailed Samsung with my query) or is it my reception ?

My post code is BL0 9

Have a SKY Plus box with lots of saved programmes that ultimately want to transfer to DVD. Unfortunately before I could complete the recordings the box or transponder has failed, we have an engineer calling out tomorrow. Can the programmes saved to the old boxes hard drive be copied in someway to a new boxes hard drive. Hope so but will need an answer by tomorrow as engineer callout is between 8am & 1pm

Cheers

Colin
