How do I change the RF output channel on a Sky Digibox?
Press the [SERVICES] button and then press [4] [0] [1] then [SELECT]
Then press [4] to go to the RF output menu.
You can now change the value so that it does not clash with an analogue TV channel or a Freeview multiplex.
HD and "new EPG" boxes
If you have a HD box, press [SERVICES] button and then press [0] [0] [1] then [SELECT]. Nothing is shown on the TV screen until you press the Select button. Then use the [RIGHT] arrow button on the remote until this screen is shown, and press SELECT to change the values:

Ali Mohammed: Remove the splitter and connect the feed to one TV directly to the RF2 output. Then view the TV and see if it has improved the picture. Then do the same for the other TV. This test is to see if splitting the signal makes it too weak.
Alternatively, it could be because there is a broadcast signal (Freeview) on the same UHF channel (frequency), or nearby channel. If you remove the incoming aerial lead (from the Sky box) and observe the poor picture improving then you know that there is a digital (Freeview) signal that is interfering.
The instructions for changing the RF out channel are at the top of this page. Knowledge of your location, preferably in the form of postcode (or nearby postcode such as that of a shop), will allow us to suggest channel(s) that might work.

Norman : To change the modulators RF output channel a Sky+HD box with the latest menu system then follow this procedure / Press "services" then use the right arrow to navigate away from "Options" to "Settings", then on pressing same "Picture" should be highlighted. On the remote control press: "0 - 1 - Select" and the "Set up" tab should be highlighted, then once again using the right arrow button scroll along the list to "RF out" and where pressing on reveals the default settings menu enabling you to change them. But though before trying this as it might not actually be necessary, make sure that the remotely positioned TV has been set on "analogue" and not DVB before carrying out the scanning exercise to pick up the RF modulator, because if the TV is set on the latter nothing will be picked up.

Norman: Changing the boxes RF modulator channel can sometimes help a cases where the picture tends to be a bit grainy, me personally using Ch68, but though it does have to be admitted that some Sky HD boxes are known to suffer from this as a result of having low output modulators, and so your complaint isn't exactly uncommon.
That said, other factors can cause this such as a long cable run between the box and the TV or a less than perfect coupling if the cable is joined anywhere, but the best way to verify which applies is to temporarily sit the remotely positioned TV near to the Sky box and use a jumper lead between each, remembering to use the Sky boxes RF1 output.
By the way if a long cable run is responsible, then this is usually cured by using a simple booster in line between both devices, this preferably sited near to the Sky box.

I am in the menu to change output channel on my sky plus box and my old sky box that I use for free view. It says on the bottom of the screen " enter number and press select. When I do this the screen goes blank, when I go back to the menu the old channel number is still there. The three options on screen is : RF channel Number, RF power, Save New settings. However when I change channel number it wont scroll down to save new settings . Any ideas ? Thanks in advance

PJ: If you change the RF channel number whilst using the RF connection to view the set-top box then this will happen.
Connect up via the SCART cable and choose the channel that way.
