I have now lost all signal can you tell me what the problem might be?
The problem could be one of:
- the aerial has been moved or damaged;
- the cables or connectors that connect the digibox to the aerial are damaged;
- the digibox has broken.
If you have a "spare" digibox you use this to test the aerial connection. Can you still watch analogue TV OK?

Hi the TV in bedroom was perfect picture until last week think it was power outage not sure, however I retuned tv as told, but the picture is all broken up and no sound, I have tried factory settings and retuned several times but it still not good. I have always used indoor aerial and it was a fantastic picture until last week. I bought another indoor aerial but it still the same, what can I do to correct it. My post code is B28 0SG.
Thank you for your help

I live in Milton Keynes and receive Freeview from the Sandy Heath transmitter. In my conservatory I have a Toshiba TV with built in Freeview. I have an aerial on the roof above that connects directly into the TV. Have had good reception on all Freeview channels, but suddenly last weekend no channels. Retuned and watched the scanner clock up 138 digital channels, but when finished all I get is No digital signal message on any/all channels. Buzzed out the aerial, all seems OK. Buzzed the co-axial cable, all seem OK. Can it be the TV if it shows it's scanning all those channels but not getting a signal? There has been no significant weather, the aerial hasn't changed position, it is all very odd. Any help will be appreciated.

David Parker: I'm not sure what 'buzzed' means, but I suspect what happened is that there is a problem with your aerial system, and the so there is just enough signal to find the channels, but not enough to actually show anything, hence the 'No Signal'. In reality, thats 'no useable signal'.
Its probably a very loose connection, or a cable hanging by a thread.

David Parker: In order to eliminate any possibility of a fault having developed in your Toshiba's tuner, try retuning the TV again but whilst its temporarily connected into the aerial point used by your main set. If this results in the TV operating as normal, switch the set off completely for 3 or 4 minutes before switching it back on again and checking that the channels are still OK.
If they are, then try it back in the conservatory again but do not retune it, as the channels will already have been stored.

stella seale: Purchase whats known as a powered two way aerial splitter, this device having one socket for the aerial input and two output sockets, one for each of your TV's.
Splitters of the type mentioned sold by such as Argos.

Matt: Purely out of curiosity, as you have mentioned the dreaded 4G, have those other viewers you are referring to received a "free of charge" 4G filter though the post? this being for the purpose of fitting in-line with their TV or boxes aerial lead.
