I have now lost all signal can you tell me what the problem might be?
The problem could be one of:
- the aerial has been moved or damaged;
- the cables or connectors that connect the digibox to the aerial are damaged;
- the digibox has broken.
If you have a "spare" digibox you use this to test the aerial connection. Can you still watch analogue TV OK?

I live on the and edge of Cholsey and from yesterday evening I have had no signal on any of my TVs. I have unplugged and retuned but nothing. Any ideas why this might be happening and how to fix? Thanks Hannah

Hannah Owen : Retuning was a bad idea as you've now wiped out all the channels that were tuned on your TV. You'll have to keep retuning periodically until your channels return as you'll have no other way of knowing when they are working again, unless you have another TV or box connected to the same aerial which is still tuned.

Gill:
To be able to help we need a full post code, near Cromer is not accurate enough to determine reception conditions. I presume you mean that Tacolneston is your nearest transmitter, but that does not necessarily mean you get your TV signals from there.
One thing you can do is to check with neighbours to see if their Freeview reception has been affected. If their's has not, then that suggests there may be a problem with your installation. If so, start by checking visually that the aerial is still mounted as it should be, then check all the cabling (including the short coaxial flylead from the wall socket into the aerial input socket of your equipment. If in doubt about that, replace it as they are very cheap.

Some channels 3 to 8 have been going out of tune on my TV's for the past couple of weeks. Now it just comes up no signal or weak signal. The signal seem slightly better during the day. I have tried retuning I lost the channels completely but managed to get them back but just not watchable.

Kelly: Please provide a postcode so we can see which transmitter you're using. Retuning will not fix signal problems and can make things worse by deleting channels making it harder to tell when the problem has been fixed.

Kelly: I have just been through all my channels the following ones are pixelating it hasn't com up lost signal tonight. ITV, CH4, CH5, ITV2, CH4+1, Film4, 20 Drama, ITV4, E4, 30 5Star, ITV+1. I have no channel 7 or 8 I must have lost them when I retuned. ITV and ITV+1 are by far the worst. I had ITV on at 16.30 it seems to get much worse at night.
