I have now lost all signal can you tell me what the problem might be?

- the aerial has been moved or damaged;
- the cables or connectors that connect the digibox to the aerial are damaged;
- the digibox has broken.
If you have a "spare" digibox you use this to test the aerial connection. Can you still watch analogue TV OK?

Without a postcode, can't be certain which transmitter might be being used (there isn't one in Eastbourne itself) but there is engineering works going on on a number of Meridian transmitters this week, which is the likely exp[explanation, but tell your Nan NOT to retune whilst this is going on, unless there is a specific on screen message to retune.

I'm surprised no-one else has responded and sorry I've been unable until now. Whilst there is a low power relay transmitter at Eastbourne now transmitting the 6 main muxes (not sure why a search didn't find it) the reception from it at your Nan's postcode is virtually non-existent and unreliable, similarly the Hastings (& Bexhill) transmitters. If your Nan's aerial is pointing at either of these the rods will be vertical & reception will undoubtedly also have been affected by many other recent transmitter changes. It's possible if it's an old aerial installation that it's pointing at the Dover transmitter (will be a C/D group aerial with rods horizontal) in roughly an ENE (60deg.) direction. This transmitter is undergoing retune events and will require a new aerial (Group K) if it's an old C/D group one, but predicted reception will be unreliable for the COM multiplexes.
The best and reliable reception is predicted to be from the Heathfield transmitter which requires a group B aerial rods horizontal pointing very slightly W of N (352deg.).
To me it sounds like you need to get a look (or someone for you) at your Nan's installation and get it checked.

terence miller: The best aerial is generally one mounted on the roof and pointed at the transmitter that provides the strongest signal (if you provide a full postcode we can advise which one that is likely to be at your location). An indoor aerial may work if you're in a strong signal area close to a transmitter.

I have a Panasonic TV with integral Freesat and Freeview facilities.
About 2 days ago almost half of the channels would not load and a "No Signal" error message was shown for these channels.
Our post code is HD4 7RD and running auto tune again still results in the same errors being displayed.
The channels that do still work appear to be from different areas to where we live.
Freeview still works perfectly however.

Hmm, if I've understood your post correctly it's Freesat you are having the problem with and this suggests an equipment issue of some sort.
First I would check that your dish or LNB doesn't appear to have moved. Then I'd try to completely clear the existing Freesat tuning on your set by some sort of reset (enter your tuning menu to see options) or failing that do a Freesat auto tune with the satellite input unplugged, then do an auto-retune with it plugged back in and see if that solves the issue. It does sound like some sort of set tuning problem.
