Brian: The good thing about Talking Pictures TV is that it is now available from main transmitters on SD and still on Channel 81. A retune might be required.

My local transmitter in Aldeburgh doesn't transmit channel 81. Is there any way to find out whether it will be added any time soon?

Clare Turner:

Aldeburgh is a Freeview Lite transmitter and will not offer COM 7 or COM 8 channels so you will not get channel 81.

When the next round of channel adjustments comes around, the services currently on COM 7 and COM 8 are hoped to be transfered to other channels.

My Transmitter is Rowridge and I had a perfect picture before 30th November 2017, now I only get a picture and sound which is unwatchable. Talking Pictures was my favourite channel.

Brent Holloway: What signal strength and quality do you get for Talking Pictures? Do you have the same problem on channels such as 4music (ch 18) and Yesterday (ch 19) which are on the same multiplex? Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see where you are in relation to the transmitter and your predicted signal strength etc.
