Not sure this relates to this site, but ! The Teletext service on BBC has become unavailable on my Panasonic smart tv.. It was available until a recent software update. I have tried re tunes and factory settings. From blogs on relevant web sites, i understand, this problem is common. on many new smart tv's. any answers ?

Walter Raybould: Do you mean the red button text service? Ceefax/teletext closed when digital switchover completed in 2012. Do you get anything when pressing the Text button on your remote when viewing any BBC channel, or do you get anything appearing on channel 250?

Typical problems with Android smartphones will start cropping up on smart TVs so doesn't surprise me. What a wonderful future we all have in store for us, eh!
