Hi Briantist,
I currently have sky+ and 1 standard multiroom. I would like to buy an Sky HD+ box from ebay or somewhere to replace my Sky+ and move the sky+ to replace the standard multiroom. Question is - Do i need extra cables for replacing my sky+ with the sky HD+ and replacing my sky standard to the sky+ box ?
cheers
Tommy

I have been using freeview for years now, But since the retune on the 6th april 2011 I've had nothing but problems. I retuned ont he 6th the following day I had to do it again and have been retuning everyday since. It's now Mon 11th april 2011 and the signal is so weak I can't get any channels. What's going on.
An answer and solution to this predicament would be nice.
thanks

Tommy Ross: You can replace the Sky+ with Sky+HD directly (plus £10 a month to Sky, of course for HD), but you will need another cable to use Sky+ where you have a standard Sky box.

john jones: You probably have too strong a signal. If you have a booster or amplifier, remove it. If you don't then you may need to fit an attenuator.

I have just upgraded to a Sky+ HD box. Can I use the old one for anything? Will it pick up any free tv channels?
