NottsUK: I guess that the tests found out they couldn't squeeze just that little bit of extra capacity out of the transponder.

Hello! My names Jorge and I'm from Canary Islands. I would like to ask you why itv's channels, bbc's channels, channel 5 and Channel 4's channels are not available on Canary Islands? Another question... Is there any possibility that someday these channels can be seen on the Canary Islands? Thank you. Greetings from Fuerteventura Island

Jorge Melo: The footprint of the Astra 2D satellite does not cover the Canary Islands. See the "Where can I receive it?" maps on the All about Freesat | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice page.

Thank you very much for your answer. It's sad that we in the Canaries can not see these channels but it's so. Good bye and have a nice day.
