Thanks for your reply I had switched off the auto on signal from the Sky box but was still getting problems with the HDMI signal but will try disconnecting the scart lead altogether. I had only left them both connected as my wife just likes to switch on and watch

My freeview signal keeps disappearing completely each evening. For the past three evenings I've had no signal whatsoever but it is restored by morning. I did the required rescans as instructed but this is still happening. I've no idea why I keep losing the signal now when pre switchover, I did not have any problems and good reception on freeview. I would be glad of any help or advice. I've waggled all connectors, ensured everything is plugged in properly but still no signal at all yet by morning it's right as rain. It's driving me bonkers!

Since retune, my signal strength is WORSE ?? I have all the stations listed, but the group 5 ones are so weak I get the message up on screen and no reception. I have a booster, I am still using as I get very very little without it . I tried rescan with booster switched off and only got half the stations . It's ITV4 and Yesterday channels I wanted , but now are too weak, they were never very good before, but at least I got them . Any help will be welcome, I have never had a problem before with setting up digital TV .I did have to reset to default my freeview recorder on the first rescan as it would not work , I was instructed to do this by the helpline, the box has never been right since .

Nikki Desborough: You have not provided a location so it is hard to be specific, but the current problems are What is the Inversion Effect and why does it effect my Freeview TV reception?

Hello Briantist. Shropshire/Wrekin.Everything on my Nokia 221T Freeview box up to and including the first switch over on April 6 worked perfectly. I was able to retune using "First Time Installation". However after April 20 I can't get any a lot of stations that were available before. eg Sky News. As for the radio the only stations available are BBC. No commercial programmes. We are both pensioners and almost techie illiterates. Please keep explanations and solutions symple.
